Substantial Stipends & Extra Pay
In addition to their base salary, teachers have opportunities to earn extra pay, including generous stipends - often double what nearby districts provide.
 
Teachers can earn multiple stipends serving different roles, such as:
 
Specialized Teaching Roles:
  • Special Education, Dual Immersion, Pathways: up to $4,718
  • Choir, Dance, Associated Student Body Advisor: up to $6,740
  • FFA, HS Band Director, Yearbook: up to $8,088
 
Athletics:
  • Varsity Coaching: up to $8,088
  • Assistant/JV Coaching: up to $5,662
 
Other Extra Pay Opportunities:
  • SCICON Overnight: $125/night
  • Clubs, Intermediate Sports, Zero-Period, Expanded Learning: $300 - $2,500+
  • Prep Buyout: up to $14,659 for teaching during prep
