Incident at Strathmore High School - September 19

Today at Strathmore High School, a student made a perceived threat towards other students and the school. As per normal protocol, the student was isolated and interviewed by school administrators and contact was made with the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office. With the initial investigation, the threat was deemed not to be credible.

The Tulare County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigation and Porterville Unified School District will ensure appropriate measures are in place to maintain student safety as classes proceed as normal at Strathmore High School and Harmony Magnet Academy tomorrow.
