ORANGE, Calif. --- On December 16, the Strathmore High Spartans defeated the Orange High Panthers, 31-29, to win the 2017 CIF State 6-AA Football Championship at Fred Kelly Stadium. The Spartans became the first team in Tulare County history to win a state football title, completing the perfect 16-0 season.
Joseph Garcia rushed for over 200 yards, scoring all four touchdowns for the Spartans.
