Parents and guardians are encouraged to complete a survey to provide input for quality summer programs.

PUSD is leasing current site for Porterville Adult School while Prospect Education Center and Vine Street will move to 900 W. Pioneer Ave. by end of 2018-19 school year.

English session will be on March 26 while Spanish session is on March 27.

Students should arrive five minutes earlier than previous years. They will be released five minutes later plus all students will be released at 1:45 p.m. every Wednesday.

Registration begins on August 7 at the new home of the Porterville Adult School (1414 W. Olive Avenue).

All elementary and middle school students will receive a free breakfast.

Parents may enroll their 8th-grade student through online application.

Harmony Magnet Academy posted a perfect 100% graduation rate with the four other PUSD comprehensive high schools posting higher than 90 percent: Strathmore High (98.5%), Porterville High (96.9%), Monache High (92.9%), and Granite Hills High (92.5%).

Mr. Nuñez worked with PUSD for 21 years.

Student threat found to be not credible; classes will proceed as normal at Strathmore High and Harmony Magnet Academy.
