Rankin Stadium will be the site for the 2015 Band-A-Rama, next Wednesday (Nov. 11) on Veterans’ Day, as PUSD and other local-area marching bands will be performing. Following the annual Veterans’ Day at 10 a.m., over 1,000 students comprised of 17 high school and elementary school bands, as well as nearly 70 majorettes and twirlers, will participate in the event.
The preshow begins at 1 p.m. with performances by Woodlake, Robert F. Kennedy, Delano and Orosi High Schools. The parade of all bands will take place at 2 p.m., followed by a mass band performance. The Band-A-Rama will conclude as Cesar Chavez, Granite Hills, Monache and Porterville High perform their competitive field shows.
