TDAP Clinics Set For April

Parents of Porterville Unified School District students entering the 7th grade for the 2016-17 school year are reminded that all students are required to have TDAP vaccines prior to entering 7th grade (tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis). The California school immunization law requires that all parents must show their child’s immunization record as proof.

PUSD will be holding three TDAP clinics in April where parents will be able to bring their students to receive this required vaccine: April 18th at John J. Doyle Elementary School, April 25th at Pioneer Middle School and April 26th at Sequoia Middle School. All three clinics will take place from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. There is no cost to those families who have either medical or no insurance. Parents must also bring immunization card to the clinic.

Please note that there will be additional clinics: April 20th at the Porterville Education Center from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., as well as at Alta Vista Elementary School from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. (March 1, April 12, May 24 and June 7).
